Mt Camo Conquered!!!
Mt Camo is finally conquered! Yes, I've been to the top and back, and I just praise God that the trip is OVER! Been there, done that, got the t-shirt, ain't going back.
My brother loved it ( I think I would have threatened his life if he hadn't ). The body is Tunisian Simple Stitch and Purl Stitch, with a double crochet camo and black border. It was finished by Christmas, just didn't have a chance to post it.
I've gotta tell ya, I've never been so happy to be finished with something in my entire life!!! 9 months and 20 some skeins. I musta been crazy. Now the nut ( I mean darlin' ) wants a camo cardigan! Do I have stupid written on my forehead??? So I just said, "I don't know how to make clothing, honey." That should settle that.
Y'all be blessed!

Merry Christmas From The Babies
Aren't they sweet? From left; Chloe, a Toy Poodle; Reilly, a Yorkie Poo; and Keegan, a Yorkie.
It wasn't too hard photographing all three. As you can see, Chloe (our rescue baby) was ready to jump out of the photo, even if it meant going over the other two. Poor little girl, she's not used to the camera yet (or clothing).
Changing the subject, Narnia is a must see. It'll make your Christmas. You won't regret taking the time to watch it.
Well, my cyber friends, my son is coming home in the morning, so I'm not sure if I'll be posting in the next few days. I hope you all have a most blessed and merry Christmas! And remember, Christ is the reason for the season.
From my babies: "Fleas Navidad"
I've Felted!!!!
Purse and Matching Cell Phone Case
This is my first felting project. I'm so pleased with how it turned out! I hope my sis-in-law is pleased, too. It's her Christmas gift. ( if you were my s-i-l, would you like it?)
I was so excited to try felting, that I forgot to photograph before photos. Got to order more wool!!! Make one for me!!!! Yeah!!!
Y'all have a blessed day!

Wrist Warmers and Scarves KK Style
Love those KK looms! The wrist warmers are Rowena's pattern. They knitted up really fast, and my daughter loves them. The scarves are knitted on the blue loom in the flat panel style, one strand only. I really have the urge for more looms!!!!

Christmas Gift Scarves
Here's a few of the things I've been busy with. The gold scarf and the fur scarf (that free Bernat Disco yarn we're all getting) were made on my new Knifty Knitter Looms (fun, fun). The others are crocheted.
That camo afghan is still waiting to be finished!!! I suppose I should just finish it and get it over with. Ugh. One thing is for sure, while working on that afghan, I've discovered that I like smaller, quicker projects to crochet. I can't believe that afghan has been dogging me since spring!!!!!!
Y'all have a blessed day!

Holiday Gift Exchange From Crochetville
"Oh Happy Day"!!!
I got my Holiday package from reecie today, right before I left for work! ( which is such a good thing, because we've just discovered that an order we hadn't received was delivered last week, and obviously stolen)
When I opened the box, I'm sure my dogs thought that I saw a cat, the way I was squealing!!!
So many goodies.
My most favorite, The Martha Poncho!!!! It's my favorite color, and my favorite yarn!!!! As if this alone wasn't awesome enough, I also received assorted threads, cotton yarn ( which will be absolutely perfect as dishcloths in my kitchen), snow flakes, chocolate (yummy), Cookie Cutouts Body Butter and Lip Balm, and a "Fleas Navidad" Christmas card (so cute).
I wore my poncho to work to show it off. My co-workers couldn't believe that someone who's never met me would make me such a fabulous gift (I can hardly believe it, either). Then they were really blown away when I told 'em about my other goodies.
This has been a yucky week, and this gift has cheered me up sooo much!
Thanks, Teresa! Thank you so very much!
