My dogs started furiously barking early this morning. Then I heard it too. The UPS truck!!! Yipee! My yarn from Herrschners! I ran to the door and found a SMALL box. Hmmm... did they only send me 1 or 2 skeins? It was light weight like yarn. On man! It was just a part that my husband had ordered. It was too early in the morning for such a big let down.

You are such a creative writer. I about cracked up when I read the "Dead frog in the middle of the road"...and what a title. Your work is so beautiful, I find it hard to believe you are "new" to crocheting. Don't give up on crocheting "in the round"--it really is easy. Maybe try some "plain ole Red Heart" and practice. On my way to Syracuse, NY for the weekend (hope the weather is nice). Taking many pigs with me. :-)
Awww! I'm sorry! I could just imagine your disappointment as I was reading. I get excited just seeing that brown truck turn on our road, and I chant "stop here! stop here! stop here!" Even when I'm not expecting anything! And then such a letdown when he drives right on by. :( I feel for ya, girl!
