Boucle Yarn, Oh My!

I recently purchased this lovely boucle for my beach cover-up (blue), and for a bikini wrap (pink) for my daughter. What a nightmare!!!!! This stuff is impossible. I've made 2 practice swatches that are a mess. 1) I can't get the gauge right, and 2) I can't even see my stitches. Can't even tell by feeling. I am NOT going to let this yarn get the best of me! It's a fight to the death!

wanna be notified of the funeral home my husband will use?

Hi Debi! Glad to hear that I am not the only one who is having problems with yarn! I have some of that fun fur, and I called it a day and threw it in a storage tub to see the light of day in....oh, 5-10 years....it must be in "yarn prison" for being horrible to work with!!

I went to Utah for 3 weeks and brought this along for a downtime project and simply put it down because it was so frustrating...I've worked with a much nicer version of this (I think it was the yarn that this is copying) but can't remember it's exact name...ZaZu or something...it worked up great...I left this yarn in Utah!

if you have the pink and want to sell it to me. I will buy it. I need it to finish a poncho. I do ponchos for ebay - danisgrammy - bcsurvivor1@iwon.com. Please let me know how much you want for it and I will pay you plus shipping to Pennsylvania. Thanks!
