New Stuff!

I'm so thrilled whenever I get new crochet stuff!!! We went out to eat for our anniversary the other night, and afterwards went to BAM. I know, you're all thinking "how romantic"! Well, my hubby knows the way to my heart. After getting 2 new crochet books and the Crochet! mag, I then decided that Michaels would be a good place to visit. And indeed it was! I had to have some cotton for a few new dishcloths. Who knew that I'd love making dishcloths? My daughter had also requested a black choker, so I decided that I must try thread crochet (which required a new hook, too, of course). I wish special occasions happened more often!

It's Alive! It's Alive!

Yeah, I'm still kicking. I'm doing much better, but this is my busy season at the studio, so posting will still be sporadic.

I've also been sick of the CAMO! Ugh! I had to do something else, hence the reason for the above photos. On the left is my MIL posing with her new Ruffle Scarf, made with Joanns Sensations Rainbow Boucle. On the right, my first dishcloth! Yes, that's right, I've never before made a dishcloth. I thought they were for display purposes, or last minute quicky gifts for someone else to display. HA! Was I wrong. People actually use them, say they're great. So, I jumped on the ol crochet bandwagon and made myself one with Lionbrand Cotton. I just put it on my sink today. My family's like, "what's that"? Gotta teach 'em everything.
