Patterns

Since I'm new to this wonderful craft, I'm also trying to learn to read patterns so that I can make the really neat stuff. I'm not sure if I'm crochet dyslectic or just dense, but it's not clicking! You would think if a person could teach themselves how to crochet, they should certainly be able to read patterns. Not this southern gal! I've even tried making sense out of "reading patterns" tutorials. Alas, it's not to be. (yet!)
